Windows 7 Wallpapers: Russia

The wallpaper images of Russian Windows 7 editions have been posted only a day after the announcement that Microsoft would soon begin to test localized versions of Windows 7 by distributing the localized Windows 7 release candidate to selected testers.

The six wallpaper images contain four landscape photos, a photo of the Kremlin and one of a snowy bridge. We have added the new pictures to our Windows 7 wallpaper collection containing official and unofficial Windows 7 wallpapers.

I don’t get it….wallpaper is wallpaper – no matter what machine its on!  Why specify this as Win 7 wallpaper, when after all it is just a picture that can be displayed on any computer….lets not blow this Win 7 thing out of proportion…….

Well it’s a Windows 7 wallpaper because it is delivered with Windows 7. It is of course possible to use them on any computer system.

I must say these are some awesome photos, but the one over the lake with the mountain glare, kinda looks a little bix pixelated, I guess its just the glare/reflection that’s making it that way.
