Did Your Windows 7 Pre-Order Arrive Today?

There’s a postal strike on in the UK at the moment so some retailers shipped their copies of Windows 7 out early, but I haven’t received my Windows 7 Pre-Order yet from Amazon.  Has your copy of Windows 7 arrived yet?  Vote now in our new poll.

Yep got mine just now, amazon doesn’t use the royal mail as far as I can tell.

Ordered my copy of Win7 through PC World. They dispatched it early so I got it on Monday 19th, 3 days before the official launch!
Had it installed in 30 minutes.

Got mine at 9:00 this morning here in the US. UPS next day delivers!

And also is there a difference between the dvd’s for Windows 7 HomeP RTM off MSDN vs the released Windows 7 HomeP? As far as builds?
From what I can tell the cversion.ini is the same, so I still don’t know.

I ordered the DVD direct from Microsoft at the preorder price in July. I’ve been looking forward to installing Windows 7 all week and figured that Microsoft would mail it out on October 21st at the very latest, maybe even earlier, I mean the already charged my debit card at the beginning of the week and have had several weeks to put it in an envelope and address it, as of today October 23rd, no Windows 7. Is it the end of the world? No, but you would think that Microsoft might have made an effort to get the preorders out a little early so that there was a chance for them to arrive by the 22nd. When Amazon and PC World beats Microsoft to the punch on its own product, that’s kinda sad.
