If, like me, you enjoy using Microsoft’s Bing, search engine because of the picture of the day then there’s good news. Microsoft have now released the Bing homepage visual search site.
The site not onyl allows you to view all the previous Bing images but gives additional features including being able to see the imagery that’s been used in every country Bing operates in. There’s more details about the images too available on a single click.
According to Stephanie Horstmanshof, Managing Editor – Bing “Now you can go back through previous homepage images to see what you’ve missed or revisit old favorites. And you can sort by a variety of categories, including all the homepages featuring countries in Europe, or every homepage image from space. Click on the image you like, and you’ll be taken to a details page where you can learn more about the subject in the photo and see related images. And click “ZOOM IN” for an even larger view!”
There have been other websites that have indexed the Bing images before, but only this site will give you all the extra information and detail to help contextualise the photos and read more about the relevance to the day they were shown.
