Tag Technology for mobile devices has a new operator, Turkcell. A new mobile marketing service called MobilKod, built by Turkcell and leveraging Microsoft Tag’s mobile tagging technology allows, the first mobile operator to extend the value of Microsoft Tag to provide a campaign management service for marketers and advertisers.
What is Tag Technology?
With Tags, advertisers and business, can put information on the Internet, and have it accessible from your mobile phone for information, websites, videos, reviews, and other information. So, MobilKod provides a mobile marketing platform for brands and advertisers as a way to reach millions of mobile subscribers in Turkey and in other countries.
What does the MobilKod Service Do?
The MobilKod service provides a free service that allows marketers to create Tags. The 2-D bar codes can be placed on objects and in printed materials. When you scan them with the free mobile app, they open a mobile experience provided by the brand or advertiser, such as a video, photo slide show or mobile website. This allows advertisers and marketers to create and measure the effectiveness of their ad campaigns in order to create brand experiences which then connect their products and materials in the physical world to information and interactive content in the digital world.
