I’m fairly sure that most of you Windows fans will remember how envious you were when Microsoft gave away 400 brand new shiny Samsung Tablets at the Windows 8 Build conference last month. These tablets were packed with brilliant hardware and ran Windows 8 seamlessly. The point of them was to allow developers to mess around with Windows 8 and to start developing apps for it.
A couple of days after the event, these tablets appeared up on eBay and were selling for nearly $4000 at one stage! However if you head over to the Microsoft Store now, you will find that Microsoft are taking pre-orders for the Samsung Series 7 tablet which is basically the same tablet if not a little better in some respects.
The specs are fairly impressive, but the price is also a bit steep too at $1,299
