There can be no doubt that the most anticipated Windows Phone product since the operating system itself is the forthcoming Nokia handset. Now PocketNow have obtained a new image that shows the handset off in it’s full, sexy gloriousness.
There can be little doubt that the new Nokia 800, formerly known as the Sea Ray, is a beautiful piece of design, though some people may not like it’s flat ends; though as an aside flat ends can be fun. I used to have a Sony Ericsson phone with a flat bottom and a vibrating ring tone was released that made it dance. One day a friend, who had the same phone as I, made them dance across a table in a McDonalds restaurant. It was hilarious to use, but we probably looked ridiculous to everybody else.
It will be available in several colours but looks lovely here in blue. PocketNow say they’ve heard it will be available from November 15th and I’ll do my level best to get one to review here at Windows7News.
The agreement with Nokia is what both Nokia and Microsoft need to rescue their products. Microsoft need the fantastic build quality, features and youth brand kudos that comes with Nokia, and Nokia desperately needs the Windows Phone operating system to stand out after taking so long to finish it’s MeeGo operating system with Intel.
