I have regularly updated Windows 8 Preview and was looking over the System Configuration Manager and opened the Tools tab out of curiosity. The System Configuration Manager covers a lot of interesting and useful information about the inner workings of your computer. When I opened Tools tab the information contained in the top entry “About Windows” suprised me. I noted that my version of Windows Developer Preview had a “use-by” date.
As you can see by the illustration it will expire by 12/03/2012. Have you checked your version?
Now to my mind this is a fair indicator that the Beta version will be out well before then. I wonder!

could be 12th of March or 3rd of December – US dates are MMDDYYYY
Possibly but on installation I chose Australian English which should (?) use dd/mm/yy. Hope I’m right!
