I’m using Windows 7 ultimate and I have installed Windows 8 (Removed Windows 7). Then I found windows.old folder in C:. I want to delete it. How can I do?&nbsp; <!– s:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!– s:( –>

You do not get a windows.old folder if you had properly removed Windows 7 and reformatted. However, you can still remove the folder.

You need to follow the instructions I made in [u:cik9sqv1]this post[/url:cik9sqv1][/u:cik9sqv1]. I was helping someone copy folders instead of delete them, but the process is the same.

I would highly recommend however that you do not install and use windows 8 pre-release builds as your main operating system. It is at an alpha level of code completion, and bugs and glitches will be common. You wont be able to get much support if something goes wrong.
