Start your computer up into MSDOS mode and in the command line type:
Format C:
Then press Y
Then install Windows XP
Then when installation is complete add a Windows 7 theme

Lol only joking

The best way to speed up windows 7 is to disable any unused services by pressing windows key + R and typing in Services.msc from there you can disable any unused services like: for me I always disable print spooler as I have no printer, there are lots of services you can safely disable you just have to read or lookup what each does.

Turn off the Aero theme and go back to good old classic mode

Turn off Paging File in System

Turn off Visual effects in System

Turn off System Restore in System

Don’t use any background wallpaper

Defragment your hard disks regularly

Speed up boot

Windows key + R and type msconfig
On the boot tab disable any programs that auto start
Turn on no GUI boot
Make boot up use multi processors

I personally really like windows 7 and to me any way its faster than vista and xp. After using vista and now 7 I would simply not use a pc any more if I had to go back to XP. <!– s;D –><!– s;D –>

windows 7 is allready better than vista or xp , but if you whant to speed it up you can disable the page file (need atleast 2 gb ram, i have 4 gb) ,use memory stick for ready boost ( same as ram) , you will see the diference there .
seven is the best windows ever…
and better format your stick in ntfs …

You can also disable the aero theme in Windows 7 to speed up things
Steps to disable the aero theme in Windows 7
Right Click on your Desktop –>Select Personalize–> click the Window Color Tab–> Uncheck the Box " Enable Transparency "–>click on Open classic appearance properties–>Apply a Standard or Basic theme.

Hey! It’s very easy to speed up Windows7. No need to manually edit above settings! Just download tweaker from <!– m –>http://doiop.com/regtweaker<!– m –> and fix up all errors. Your PC will perform super faster…
