HP 4520 touch pad is off

please i need help,my touch pad is off,how do i switch it on?

Touchpads can normally be switched on or off using a button close to it – on my HP Pavilion DV6000 series laptop, it’s a tiny button directly above the touchpad but below the spacebar.

It may be in the same place on yours, or it may be near a wifi/bluetooth switch on your machine, so have a look at the lower edge, sides as well as the button section above the keyboard to see if you can find the switch to enable it again.

If you find one but it doesnt fix the problem, it could be an issue with software – but the most likely situation is that the touchpad was accidentally disabled.
