If you’ve built a Windows 7 PC that’s your pride and joy, then nows the time to let the world know!  Post a picture of your Windows Experience Index as well as your hardware specs, as this will help other users see what bits of kit can improve their scores.

How long do you think it will take to get a perfect 7.9?

Here’s mine to get the ball rolling – not very impressive I know :’-(

Edit: Just noticed I hadn’t loaded the correct profile and forgot to post my specs:

Abit IP35-Pro| Q6600@3.4Ghz | SwiftTech CPU+GPU Watercooling | G.Skill 4GB PK PC2-8500C5 | HD4670 | Seasonic S12-600 |

again some bit of more fun. also the screen shot the WEIS file was actually changed. Just showing that this "scoring" is should not really be taken too seriously.

Acer 5735 Laptop btw
4g memory
250g hd
actual score is 4.2 i think.

Here just to be first "unofficial" post with the "perfect 7.9". Again the WEI score file was changed. You can also do this on Vista fyi. I am not doing this to make people mad about the scoring. Back when Vista first came out, some local computer stores were doing this "mod" to the score to sell computers. If your shopping for a computer and you ARE using the scoring window, I recommend right there in the store click "re-run Assessment" to actually see IF the score has been tampered with.

If anyone DOES have a "perfect" score, cudos to you.

mines not the best system, but I get by with little problems

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
Nvidia GeForce 7050 PV / nForce 630a
4GB High pefromance OCZ Ram
Windows 7 7600 x64

the only thing that lets me down is my Graphics which are inbuilt on my MotherBoard

Here is mine.

Core 2 duo E8400 at 3.6ghz, 8gb OCZ Reaper DDR2, Radeon HD 4850, and G.Skill Falcon 128gb SSD.

Edit: Since I’ve now sold off my 4850 and bought a 5870, it’s time for an updated WEI score.

I didn’t know Intel GMA 4500 got such a high (comparatively high) score on WEI, 945 etc barely get above 2.0 and 915 gets 1.0.
