I am getting crackling and popping noises when using the X-Fi XtremeGamer with Windows Vista.  I have noticed that it happens mostly when the Windows start up sound plays.  Has anyone actually found a way of sorting this out?  Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Until recently I had the same sound card installed in Vista X64 but didnt have a single issue with it.
The only reason I dont anymore is I have no room for the card&nbsp; <!– s:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!– s:( –>

I will presume you are running the latest drivers, perhaps try changing some of the settings / enhancements in the console

The Creative X-Fi Xtreme is a new addition to the X-Fi updated and is equivalent to your skin, core super thin, naked X-Fi continues to provide all the necessary additives for the game
