Microsoft’s Windows 7 Download Tool Re-Posted

About a month ago, prominent blogger Rafael Rivera revealed that Microsoft had used open-source code in the download tool it was offering so that users could transfer Windows 7 .ISO files to USB flash drives. Microsoft has now licensed the code properly and re-posted the tool for download.

Windows 7 Family Pack Supplies Running Low

Copies of the Windows 7 Family Pack, which includes three upgrade licenses for Windows 7 Home Premium, are becoming harder to find in the United States, both in retail stores and online. The offer, announced by Microsoft in July and offered for $150, was said to be “while supplies last,” but I don’t think anyone was expecting supplies to run so low so soon.
